Our Mission

We proclaim God’s Word and nurture people so all may know Christ’s compassion and forgiveness.

You

Any one who seeks God or wishes to know more about him

Us

A Christian community made up of people of all ages, from various walks of life, and diverse backgrounds who share a common confession of faith in our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.

Him

The creator and owner of all that exists.
Genesis 1-2

Our Beliefs

Whoever believes in Jesus and follows Him as Lord will live with God for all eternity.

The Bible is God’s inspired Word which points to Jesus as Lord and Saviour.
2 Timothy 3:16; John 5:39; 20:31
God sent His Son, Jesus, into the world to save us from our sin. As both God and man, He lived the life of a servant for us, died on the cross to pay the penalty our sin deserved, and rose from the dead so that we might be restored to God and have eternal life.
John 3:16-17; 1 Corinthians 15:57; Ephesians 1:7; Philippians 2:5-11
There is only one true God who has revealed Himself as Father, son and Holy Spirit.

Deuteronomy 6:4; Matthew 28:19

Whoever believes in Jesus and follows Him as Lord will live with God for all eternity.

John 3:16
People cannot save themselves from death and hell by their own efforts.

Ephesians 2:8-10; Romans 3:12
There is only one true God who has revealed Himself as Father, son and Holy Spirit.

Deuteronomy 6:4; Matthew 28:19
Lutheranism advocates a doctrine of justification “by grace alone through faith alone on the basis of Scripture alone”, the doctrine that scripture is the final authority on all matters of faith, denying the Roman Catholic belief of authority coming from both the Bible and the established Church Magisterium. Unlike the Reformed Churches, Lutherans retain many of the liturgical practices and sacramental teachings of the pre-Reformation Church, with a particular emphasis on the Eucharist, or Lord’s Supper.

Loving God. Loving People.
